Interventions to Promote Health and Workability
A large emphasis of this research involves developing and delivering health interventions. We originally had 1120 individuals (from public & private sectors companies). We followed up these individuals at six monthly intervals, monitoring physiological and psychological changes.
We have also implemented ‘Walking Lunch maps’ (below) in six organisational sites to promote incidental activity in the workplace. It has been enriching to hear about participants’ experiences of being involved in the project and we have conducted almost 60 interviews which attempt to capture this.
