Caring Responsibilities

Henry is aged 57 and currently employed as a marketing manager for a food manufacturing company. His mother has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and his wife has already given up work to help look after the grandchildren. Henry would like to work part-time to help look after his mother. As there is no option for Henry to work part-time or to take an employment break in his current job, he is thinking of taking early retirement. However, he is concerned that a consequence of this would be that he and his wife might struggle financially.
